Venkaiah Naidu said on June 21. Speaking at the International Day of Yoga (IDY) celebrations organized by the Ministries of Culture and Ayush, he said: “Yoga is time-tested. Yoga has no barrier, no age, no caste, no region, no religion. That is why it is universal.” He complimented Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing Yoga to the United Nations and popularizing it worldwide.- PTI

At PM Modi’s call, the whole world adopted Yoga: Thakur

Union Minister Anurag Thakur said on June 21, Prime Minister Narendra Moho explained to the United Nations General Assembly the importance of Yoga and called on the world to adopt Yoga. “On his call, all countries have adopted Yoga and decided to celebrate International Yoga Day on June 21 every year.
