Last week, rumors and speculation about an upcoming Tecno smartphone, the Tecno Pova 3, started doing the rounds. Now the launch date of the Tecno Pova 3 has been announced and is scheduled for June 20. Likewise, the device is set to launch in India and will be available through online retailer Amazon India. For the uninitiated, the Tecno Pova 3 became official in the Philippines in May. That said, it’s already authorized, and we know all the details regarding its specs and features. The one puzzle that remained a mystery was India’s launch date and pricing. Now the recent confirmation has also brought clarity about the launch date.
Specifications Tecno Pova 3
The Tecno Pova 3 has been launched with a 6.9-inch LCD with an FHD+ resolution. The screen has a refresh rate of 90 Hz, which will help with smooth scrolling and gaming. Under the hood, the Tecno smartphone is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC paired with two storage configurations: an entry-level variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and a high-end variant with 6 GB of storage. RAM and 128GB of storage.
For imaging, the Tecno Pova 3 uses a triple camera setup on the back, as seen in the leaked images. The camera consists of a 50MP primary camera sensor and 2MP auxiliary sensors. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor. Speaking of the other aspects, the Tecno smartphone comes with stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button, a 3.5mm headphone jack,d an FM radio receiver. It runs the dated Android 11 operating system with HiOS on it.
Regarding the USP, the Tecno Pova 3 gets the power of a 7000mAh battery that lasts at least two days on a single charge. There are notable battery improvements, including a Super Power Saving mode and a reverse charging function, which can charge other devices at up to 10W charging speeds. In addition, the device supports up to 25W charging speeds via the 33W charger that comes in the box.
Tecno Pova 3 expected price in India
Regarding pricing, the Tecno Pova 3 has been launched in Electric Blue, Tech Silver, and Eco Black. In the Philippines, the base variant with 4 GB RAM costs PHP 8,999 (approximately Rs. 13,300), and the high-end 6GB RAM model costs PHP 9,399 (roughly Rs. 14,000). We have to wait for the launch to know the price in the country.
